Our drive to the airport was a breeze—just 45 minutes. From the moment we pulled up to the curb to sitting down in the Emirates Lounge, it took only 20 minutes. Having Global Entry with TSA PreCheck really is the way to go—it saves so much time at security.
Now, onto the Emirates Lounge. I think we’ve officially visited all the lounges at LAX by now. The Emirates Lounge definitely ranks high, though it still falls just a touch behind United’s Polaris Lounge. Still, it’s beautifully designed, spacious, and staffed with plenty of attentive people.
The food was outstanding—the grilled salmon was perfectly done, and the olive oil pistachio cake was absolutely amazing. We paired it with a 2022 Austin Hope Cabernet from Paso Robles, which complemented the meal perfectly. Even the bathrooms were spot-on, complete with cloth hand towels.
