Cruise Day #27 - Port Stanley, Falklands

Today we were scheduled to be in Port Stanley, in the Falklands.  We were here last year and went to see the three Penquin colonies at Volunteer Point.  On this trip, we were going to visit a Gentoo Penquin colony at Gypsy Cove.

The morning was cloudy and a bit windy.  The ship anchored and we were all ready to disembark via the ship's water shuttles.  The Captain then made an announcement that due to the afternoon weather forecast they were canceling our port day!  

We have heard many Port Stanley cancellation stories, but we were 3 for 3 on our prior visits.  Well,  now we are 3 for 4.

Oh well, we'll drown our disappointment at tonight's Caymus dinner!
