Yesterday we received the following notification from Seabourn. We had originally planned to be picked up at noon in an effort to avoid the usual embarkation crowds. With the updated information below, our pickup has been pushed to 1:30 PM, and we now plan to arrive at the port around 2:30—once again attempting to dodge the embarking masses. The ship is scheduled to sail at 5:00 PM, so no worries there.

Please be advised that embarkation for your Seabourn Sojourn voyage departing Long Beach, California on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 will begin at 1:00 PM. We kindly request that guests do not arrive earlier than this, as the terminal will not be accepting newly embarking guests until this time. As for the weather, the current forecast shows a 33% chance of rain on Tuesday—which of course means there’s a very optimistic 67% chance of no rain at all. We like those odds! 🌦️😎
