Cruise Day #6 - Sea Day 5 of 6

Last night we started our evening in the Observation Loungesurprise, surprise! It’s beginning to feel like returning home as we continue getting to know more passengers. We once again enjoyed a caviar platter; Debbie paired hers with a rosé, while I opted for champagne (naturally). Sean, the Bar Manager, has officially become our new best friend, and we enjoyed quite a lengthy visit with him. We really love getting to know the staff—it adds so much to the experience.

Eventually, we made our way to the restaurant and enjoyed yet another great dinner. Afterward, we spent the rest of the evening in The Club, listening to the band and doing a little dancing. And yes, a few new friendships were made along the way!

For our Princess casino friends, you would not be impressed by the tiny casino here. We’ve never seen more than a couple of passengers in it at any one time.

Luckily, that’s not really our thing anyway.

The seas were a bit rocky again last night and early this morning, but as the day went on they settled down nicely. We spent some time in Seabourn Square with cappuccinos and shared an almond croissant—delicious, by the way. By 9:30, we were fully ensconced on our poolside loungers and ready to enjoy the day! 😎

For lunch, we returned to the Colonnade and were once again very impressed! The tuna skewers, vegetable moussaka, and cilantro rice really hit the spot.

We skipped dessert, but plenty of others were happily indulging in the chocolate fruit fondue.

Once again, we had great lunch mates. We’ve been sitting at a high-top table with seating for six and ended up staying an extra hour chatting with G & J from Bermuda—always fun meeting interesting people onboard.

I don’t recall if I mentioned that after 6 pm, you can order room service directly from The Restaurant menu. That’s a very nice (and tempting) feature.

One more thing—throughout the day around the pool, servers walk around offering a choice of two drinks of the day. Muy bueno! 🍹

¡Hasta mañana!
