We arrived this morning to partly cloudy skies and a forecast of on/off rain throughout the day.
We have been to Kauai many, many times and with the on/off rain predicted for today, we decided it was a great day for more shopping!We took the free shuttle to the Kukui Grove Shopping Center. The shopping center has a Target and a Ross-for-Less as their anchor stores. And, right behind and across the street from the shopping center there is a Costco.
We started by walking to the Costco to purchase some items for a few crew members. The Costco no longer gives crew members a day pass, they did pre-covid. I found a few "Made in Hawaii" items that I have never seen in our Costco back home. I can't wait to try them!
We made our way back to the shopping center and as hard as she tried, Debbie made ZERO purchases! I could tell she was not happy! We ran into our Maitre'd, Joachim, as we were walking back to the shuttle bus and rode back to the ship with him.
We will now have five consecutive sea days as we head back home to Los Angeles. Hopefully, we will have calmer seas.
