Cruise Day #26 - Honolulu

  Good morning Honolulu!

We started the day with breakfast in the dining room.  Huevos Rancheros were on the menu and they were muy bueno!  We are missing Mexican food.

We have to go thru U.S. Immigration as we leave the ship today.  We walked off the ship at 9:15 and into a virtually empty terminal.  For U.S. citizens, all they did was to glance at our passports and off we went.  Non-U.S. citizens had to see an Immigration Officer at a desk.

We took a taxi into Waikiki and our first stop was one of Debbie's favorite places.

After a couple hours of shopping, I was ready for lunch at one of my favorite places!

Debbie had a Seared Ahi Burger

I had Blackened Ono with Cole Slaw & Cajun Rice

Both were delicious and I added some of their "Magic Sauce"

After a bit more shopping (I actually bought a couple of shirts), we walked to the Ala Moana Mall.  There, we ran into two of of favorite bartenders (Mou and Sandeep) buying new I-Phones.

After exploring the mall and making a few more purchases, I carried ALL of the bags back to the ship!  We walked 17,300 steps, just shy of 8 miles!

On the way back to the ship, this little guy walked right by me, a Red-Crested Cardinal.

Tonight, it will be a light dinner in the dining room and a Netflix movie night in our cabin.
