We had really nice weather yesterday (sea day) and spent the majority of the day in the Sanctuary.
But overnight, we returned to stormy conditions. We awoke to rain, clouds, and choppy seas.
I had my daily visit to the Elliptical machine and then we got ready for the Most Traveled Guest Lunch in Sabatini's. We are #7 and #8 of the top 20 passengers. The most traveled couple has over 3,000 Sea days!
The MTG Luncheon was fantastic, as always. The Captain and Staff Captain were not in attendance. The HGM was the highest ranking officer in attendance. She stated that the Captains were not there because of the rough seas and were needed on the bridge.
Hmmm, we think it was because they didn't want to risk getting a stomach bug. Oh well, we'll never know. The Captain reported earlier today that due to an increase in gastrointestinal illness among passengers, they were increasing their level of sanitation procedures. We wash and disinfect our hands constantly!
