Cruise Day #20 - Sea Day

We have had 40+ kt (46+ mph) winds since leaving San Antonio yesterday.  The seas rocked pretty good all night.  Still windy this morning.

The wait staff in the Horizon Restaurant changedover for breakfast.  They new staff is the dinner team from the Crown Grill.  Our previous staff was the Horizon dinner team.  We will miss Jasper and Dejan!

We met with the Loyalty & Events Host today.  She informed us that for this segment, the cutoff for the Most Traveled Guest Luncheon was 938 sea days.  We are 7 days short and first on the cancelation list.  Oh well, maybe we'll make it on the last segment.

A couple of days ago, we were having a conversation with our Waiter, Sam, in the Reserve Collection Dining Room regarding our favorite ice cream flavors.  I told him that coconut ice cream was my favorite, but that we have not seen that flavor on a cruise in a very long time.

Today, after finishing our lunch, Sam told us he had a surprise for us.  He brought us coconut ice cream!  We really appreciate how hard the crew works to make us happy!

Tonight was Formal Night and those in formal wear were much fewer than on the last segment.  We saw many shorts, jeans, and t-shirts.

We tried another show tonight, Encore.  After 15 minutes, we had to leave.  It was dreadful!  We did sit through "Fiera" the other night, it was okay.  We have been trying to catch the show that we saw the ending of last week.  It had a Lady Gaga song with great costumes, but we don't know which show it was.  We'll try one more time.

Tomorrow, we'll be in Puerto Montt, Chile.
