We arrived at 7 am and docked in their huge working container port.
You are not allowed to walk from the ship to the terminal for safety reasons. There are many trucks and containers being moved around. They provide a free shuttle bus for the five minute ride to the terminal.
We exited the terminal at 9:30 am and took a taxi to the Calle Florida shopping district. The ride was $6 USD and they take USD.
Here, we walked and walked! And, Debbie did a little bit of shopping. We walked to the famous Tortoni Cafe, one of the oldest in Buenos Aires. We were hoping to have a pastry and coffee, but the line was too long.
When we were here in March of 2023, we just walked right in with no wait. We continued walking for the next couple of hours.
