Last night’s dinner at Love by Britto was every bit as good as our first visit!
I began with the Oysters, I asked for two, knowing that it is normally just one.
The Palate Cleanser
We had our morning cappuccinos and toast in the dining room, which was decorated for Halloween.
Afterwards, we took the ship’s shuttle—$16 per person round trip—into the center of town. It was about a 30-minute ride each way, and the drop-off spot was right in front of the beautiful, grand Cathedral. We spent the day exploring, eventually logging 6.3 miles on foot!
Palma is a really beautiful city! We found that it has more of a Paris vibe than any other Spanish city we’ve visited.
We’re definitely going to plan a week’s stay here in the near future—that will give us time to visit one of our sports idols’ tennis academy, which is about two hours away.Along the way, we discovered a quaint little tapas bar off the beaten path, and it turned out to be a gem. We enjoyed patatas bravas, anchovies in olive oil and vinegar, and an octopus and shrimp ceviche—all delicious.I got off easy today: Debbie only bought an €8 t-shirt!
Tonight, we’ll be dining in the Sanctuary Restaurant. We’ll also be saying goodbye to Lazar, our Junior Waiter for the past 21 days. His contract is complete, and he’s heading home to Serbia. We’ll certainly miss him!
