Cruise Day #34 - Sea Day, 6 of 8

Overnight, the seas came to life, and we’ve been rockin’ and rollin’ ever since! 🌊 It also rained, and this morning the skies looked ready to open up again.

After breakfast in our restaurant, we headed up to the Sanctuary Club to check the weather conditions. Everything was soaked — even though it wasn’t currently raining — and the staff was hard at work with squeegees trying to clear the decks. Definitely not a day for sunbathing!

We retreated to our stateroom to re-plan our day. Earlier in the week, we’d received notice that the last opportunity to send out laundry for the cruise was noon on Wednesday, so we sent most of it out Tuesday night. Still, we had a fair pile left to tackle ourselves. Debbie decided to check if our laundry room was available — and luck was on her side! Both washers and dryers were free. She managed to load up both machines just in time… because moments later, two different guests showed up with laundry in hand. Sorry, too late! 😅 They’ll have to come back in 35 minutes or try their luck on another deck.

Here is our current location, our ship is circled in red.
We finally made it to O’Malley’s for lunch! Their lunch menu is much smaller than what they offer for dinner, but still solid.
We started with the onion rings (crispy perfection!)
and both went with their plant-based burger — we’re pretty sure it’s made with Beyond Meat patties. Either way, it was delicious!
We spent the rest of the afternoon streaming Starting 5 on Netflix. We’ve got just one episode left in Season One before moving on to Season Two. If you’re an NBA fan, it’s a must-watch! 🏀
Tonight is our last formal night, and we’ll be turning the clocks back another hour at 2 a.m. We were planning to dine at Sabatini’s, but once we saw that tuna steaks were on the menu in the Sanctuary Restaurant, we made a quick change! Sabatini’s has been rescheduled for tomorrow night — tuna wins tonight! 😋

Cruise Day #25 - Sea Day 5 of 5

Note: The date is still one day behind the date onboard. Hopefully, that will be rectified tomorrow when we are on land.  Last night was alm...
