Our Hop-on/Hop-off Bus excursion has been canceled. The ship is providing a free shuttle to a nearby mall. We arrived and were docked by 12:15. We had lunch onboard and headed into the city.
Pulling into Hong Kong
Since we spent a week here in 2019 and visited all of the important sites of the city, we took a taxi right to the Lady's Market. Debbie was in heaven! Shopping for 6 long city blocks.
After two hours of shopping and purchasing an extra bag for all of her purchases, we caught a taxi back to the cruise terminal.
Just as we were exiting our taxi, the free ship shuttle bus was leaving for the Millennial Mall. We jump onto the shuttle and we were off!
The mall is a city to itself. It is huge!!! All of the brand stores you can name are here.
But, there were no "deals" to be found. After an hour of exploring we caught the shuttle back to the ship.
After cooling showers, we visited with our friend, Mou, bartender at the Crown Grill Bar and gave her a souvenir from Hong Kong.
We were then off to dinner, where we met up with my sister-in-law and her husband. It was Michael's (our Restaurant Manager) birthday and he was surprised by his girlfriend (and staff) with a birthday cake. The entire dining room sang Happy Birthday!
