Here is the typhoon that we are trying to avoid.
For lunch today they had a pop-up Salty Dog Pub Lunch at the Crown Grill Restaurant. We went anticipating a Beyond Hamburger.
We ordered a Lobster Mac & Cheese, a Charred Asparagus, and we each ordered the Beyond Hamburger. The Mac & Cheese was fantastic! The Asparagus was also really good. And then the wheels fell off the wagon!
Our burger was not a "Beyond" burger. It was a quinoa mush of a burger! We asked to speak to the manager and we got him and the Restaurant Chef. The Chef said they did not have any "Beyond" products onboard, so he made up his own patty.
How do you list "Beyond" on the menu and then substitute a sub-par replacement without informing the customer? No bueno!
Oh well, dinner was good. And we are going to bed early as we have a 6 am wakeup call for mañana.
