Cruise Day #16 - Sea Day

Today is consecutive Sea Day #1 of 2.  The winds picked up as we left Peru last night and now heading to our first port in Chile.  The seas were a bit bumpy through the night and this morning.
We received the below Chile arrival information last night

The Most Traveled Guests Luncheon was held today in the Harmony Restaurant.  Sadly, we missed the cutoff by 33 sea days, the cutoff was 946 sea days.  Maybe we will make it on the next segment or the third segment?  🤷‍♂️

The winds have continued throughout the day and seas are rock'in a bit.  Debbie did not sleep well last night and with the one hour forward, she spent most of the day in our stateroom.

I had lunch in the Reserve Collection Dining Room with our friends, C & J, from Ventura (So Cal).  They are returning home at the end of this first segment, on Thursday.  They are amazed at how fast these 18 days have flown by!  They are going to start their packing process this afternoon.  We will miss them!

Tonight is "Formal night." As far as that goes, I would say that on this voyage, maybe 25% are dressing in formal attire.  This past year, we have seen less and less folks dressing up.  IMHO, they should just do away with dress themes.  Just call every night "Casual Attire" and those that want to dress up can do so whenever they wish.  I believe it's the revenue from photos that keeps "Formal Night" alive.

Cruise Day #25 - Sea Day 5 of 5

Note: The date is still one day behind the date onboard. Hopefully, that will be rectified tomorrow when we are on land.  Last night was alm...
