Kruger - Day #3

We had another fantastic day today! We started early with cappuccinos from the Take Away Shop just behind the store.

They have a surprisingly good menu of made-to-order food and drinks, plus a butcher shop where you can pick up your braai meat.

Right next door is a kiosk serving shakes, slushies, and soft-serve ice cream.

The shops run along the Sabie river.

After a little shopping, this is at the store's front door,
(I couldn’t resist buying a t-shirt I spotted!),

we all met back at our bungalows and set out for the day. We covered about 125 kilometers (roughly 75 miles) and saw an incredible variety of wildlife—giraffes, lots of elephants, kudus, around 250 African buffalo, and at least 1,000 impalas (they really are everywhere!). We also spotted a playful little blue monkey (too quick for a photo), plus hippos, crocodiles, five lions, and some amazing birds.

We stopped at the Lower Sabie camp for lunch before making our way back to our camp.
