Good morning Piraeus, Greece — the gateway to Athens! It’s a beautiful, sunny day with just a light breeze.
Since we’ve visited Athens many times (and have already explored the Acropolis at least three times), we decided to stay onboard and enjoy a relaxing day in the Sanctuary Club.For the first couple of hours, we had the place all to ourselves before a few others started to wander in.
We ordered veggie burgers for lunch right from our lounges — delicious and easy. By around 1:00 pm, there were maybe 30 guests total, but everyone was nicely spread out. We stayed until about 3:00 pm before heading back to stateroom. Tonight, we’re off to Makato Ocean for a sushi dinner — can’t wait!An amazing sky tonight as the sun is going down over Athens!
