This may start to sound like a broken record, but we kicked off last night, once again, at the Observation Bar hanging out with all of our new friends. Caviar with potato chips made another appearance, and we even converted a couple of newbies to the joy of caviar-on-chips life. Yum!!! 😋
Dinner at The Restaurant was, yet again, amazing. We both started with the Potato Raviolo, which was absolutely delicious.
No hesitation here, we will be ordering that every single time it’s offered. For my main course, I had the slow-roasted wahoo. Wow on the wahoo! Finger lickin’ good. Debbie opted for a large Caesar salad topped with grilled salmon, which was just right.Dessert deserves its own paragraph. We haven’t had a soufflé in a very long time. Back in our early cruising days, we probably had one too many and eventually swore them off. Well… last night they served a coconut soufflé with piña colada anglaise. A coconut soufflé! We’ve never seen that before, and you know I’m a sucker for anything coconut. Needless to say, we absolutely loved it!!! 🥥🍰
This morning we kept breakfast light in between trips to the Deck 5 laundromat. We, or more accurately Debbie, tackled two loads of laundry, so we’re now good for another week. After my visit to the Fitness Center, we made our way to the pool, where we plan to spend most of the day soaking up some sun and relaxation.Tonight is our second Formal Night. We’re planning to have dinner at the Colonnade, where formal attire isn’t required. It’s not that we’re avoiding dressing up (we brought plenty of formal outfits), we’re just really drawn to the Colonnade’s menu tonight.
I’ll fill you in on tonight’s dinner in tomorrow’s blog. Stay tuned! 😊
